Through a Dancer’s Eyes
Motion Piece
I grew up taking dance lessons, starting when I was 3 years old. I danced throughout my childhood, was on my high school’s dance company, and have taken some dance classes in college. Although I no longer regularly dance, it is still a big part of my life in the media I consume and what I take inspiration from.

This motion piece explores 9 aspects of a performance day from the perspective of the dancer, rather than an audience member. It shows experiences from prepping before the show to the performance onstage. Everything is highly abstracted to just circles and rounded rectangles and is focused a lot on the movement of these shapes, like how dance is movement based.
